Global Adventures Cabo San Lucas suggests guests vacationing in the wonderful town of Cabo San Lucas Mexico take a water taxi and head to the amazing Lovers Beach. Lovers Beach is basically a huge sand bar that sits in the middle of the rock formation that jutes out from the southern most tip of Baja California; on one side of the beach is the bay of Cabo, and on the other the Pacific Ocean. Lovers Beach has amazing snorkeling and on the Bay side crystal clear waters teaming with colorful fish and nearby there is also great diving spots. Global Adventures Cabo San Lucas also recommends for divers to check out nearby Lovers beach Pelican rock and the Sand falls; an underwater shelf drops off and divers can see the sand cascading over the edge of this ledge looking like an underwater waterfall. This is an amazing dive site to visit, there is also snorkeling right around lovers beach and close the world famous Arch. From Lovers beach visitors can walk around the side of the beach to the arch, sometimes depending on the swell the ocean stirs up enough sand so that there is actually a beach underneath the arch, other times water swirls through and makes it unsafe for swimming and snorkeling. The sea lions by the arch are also an amazing site to see, there are so many great photo ops around Lovers Beach.
Global Adventures Cabo San Lucas also recommends kayaking to Lovers beach not only is this a great way to get to Lovers beach but also provides you with your own transportation so you can explore the rocks around the beach and come and go as you please. Lover’s beach is very easy to push a boat or a kayak right up to as the waters on the bayside are very calm and tranquil. The Pacific side on the other hand is a totally different story. Nicknamed divorce beach, the waters on the Pacific side are not the safest place to swim, the waves are bigger and there is an undertow, so it is never recommended to swim on this side, stick to the nice calm water of the Bayside.
